Scale video production with OpenClaw and Frameloop API. Learn how to build autonomous agents that research, create, and publish videos 24/7.
Video is the highest-leverage content format right now. It’s also the hardest to scale.
If you’re a creator or marketer, you know the struggle. You have a great idea for a video, but then you hit the wall of execution: scripting, editing, finding stock footage, animating, and rendering. By the time the video is done, the trend has often passed.
We built the Frameloop API to fix this.
But an API is just a tool. To really scale, you need an operator.
That’s where OpenClaw comes in.
In this post, I’ll show you how to combine OpenClaw’s agentic workflows (the "Brain") with Frameloop’s video generation (the "Hands") to build an automated content engine that runs 24/7.
The problem with most video automation is that it’s rigid. You set up a template, and every video looks the same.
The integration with OpenClaw changes that because it separates the decision-making from the execution.
Before we dive into what you can build, let's get your accounts connected. It takes less than five minutes and requires zero coding.
Sign up: Head over to Frameloop and create an account.
Generate a key: Navigate to the API Keys section in the sidebar and create a new key. Make sure to save this key somewhere safe immediately—it will never be displayed again.

Connect your agent: Open up your OpenClaw agent wherever you normally talk to it (Telegram, Slack, etc.) and send it this exact prompt:
"Go through API docs at https://frameloop.ai/docs/api and using my api key: [flk_live_xxxxxx_xxxxxxxxxx], setup a video creation skill using Frameloop, which i can ask you to run everytime i want to make a video."
Here are three workflows you can build with this setup today.
This is the simplest use case, but also the most satisfying. It turns a chat interface into a video production suite.
Instead of opening an editor, you simply ping your OpenClaw agent on Telegram or Slack:
"Make a 30-second video about the history of coffee. Use an animated style and an upbeat voiceover."
OpenClaw processes the intent, calls the Frameloop API with the correct parameters, and sends you back an MP4 file a minute later.
Why this matters: It reduces the friction of creation to zero. If you can send a text, you can make a video.
If you are trying to grow a brand, you need to be timely. This workflow automates the research phase.
You can set up an OpenClaw agent to wake up at 9:00 AM every morning and:
Scan X (Twitter) and Google News for trending topics in your niche.
Generate 3-5 video concepts based on those trends.
Send you a summary.
You reply with a single number (e.g., "Option 2"), and the agent triggers the Frameloop render. It can even schedule the upload to YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels automatically.
Why this matters: You get the quality control of a human director with the speed of an AI research team.
Good content should travel. If you write a high-performing LinkedIn post, it should also be a video.
With this integration, you can set up a "listener" workflow. When OpenClaw detects a new post on your blog or LinkedIn profile, it parses the text, summarizes the key points, and sends a request to Frameloop to generate a video version.
You can specify different formats for different platforms:
By combining OpenClaw’s ability to "think" with Frameloop’s ability to "create," you aren't just saving time. You are building an asset that works while you sleep.
